Free tax advice? (Well, technically not advice — just information and opinions). Yes, that’s what this past Tuesday night at the NSDREI was all about. If you’re like many of us, just hearing the word “taxes” freaks you out. And understandably so. With literal thousands of pages of IRS code, it’s hard to make sense of it all.

That’s where Amanda Han and Matt MacFarland with Keystone CPA come in. Amanda and Matt are some of the savviest CPAs in the state, when it comes to understanding real estate and the tax benefits that go along with being investors. And they didn’t hesitate to answer everyone’s tax questions. Further, they shed light on year-end tax planning strategies, proposed legislation that could affect you moving forward, real estate specific tax saving tips. And they also shed light on something we could probably all do a little better — keep cleaner records and books. 

All those in attendance walked away that night with actual, real-world information that can help them better their financial situation. It was an amazing night!
